National Relay System (NRS)

Kutoa Solution’s National Relay System (NRS) is a purpose-built communication platform that enables persons with disabilities, particularly those who are Deaf; hard of hearing; or speech-impaired, to make and receive phone calls through live interpreter support. Aligned with the Constitution’s recognition of SASL as South Africa’s 12th official language and ICASA’s mandate for universal access and inclusion, the NRS marks a major step forward in accessible communication. Through our intelligent, cloud-based infrastructure, the NRS bridges the communication gap between hearing and Deaf communities – enabling equitable access to emergency services, healthcare, education, and everyday communication.
